Your path to draft night and the championship
Connect Discord, set your gamertag / PSN, pick your positions, and confirm your profile. You're auto-invited to the CPA Discord server.
Pay the $10 player fee (2 build limit) on the draft page. Add Unlimited Positions ($5) if you want to play beyond the default position cap.
Zero refund policy. Include your Discord name in the payment description.
Before Draft Day, invite-only private workouts are organized by coaching staff. Put up a dominant performance to climb draft boards.
All 32 programs make their selections live. Once drafted, you join your head coach's team channel and prepare for the regular season.
Regular season runs three BO3 series a week over two weeks. Top teams advance to the playoffs bracket, ending in the CPA World-Wide Championship BO5, streamed live with commentary.
Running one of the 32 programs
When coach applications are open, visit /apply and submit your experience, pitch, and up to 10 ranked team preferences. Staff reviews every submission.
On approval, you become Head Coach of one of the 32 colleges. Pay the $25 coach fee and get access to your team chat, GM controls, and the live draft board.
On Draft Day, make your picks across all rounds. Every pick you make flows through the league transactions feed and notifies the player.
Sign free agents ($2 each), release players ($1), trade with rival GMs ($4 each), and negotiate match times directly with other head coaches. All moves deduct from your $20 season cap.
Coach applications aren’t always open — staff toggle them on when a season is recruiting. When they’re live you’ll see an Apply link in the menu.

Before Draft Day. Invite-only runs organized by coaching staff. Your chance to move up the board.
Every head coach announces their selections live. Once the draft closes, registration and private workouts end.
Three BO3 series per week across two weeks. The mid-season All-Star Game drops with cash prizes for the top performers.
Top teams enter a traditional BO3 bracket with 48-hour rounds. Win your way through the Big 12 and punch your championship ticket.
A BO5 finals streamed live in front of every CPA player and fan, with commentary from CPA staff to make the championship experience unforgettable.

Once a team exhausts its cap, no more signings, releases, or trades for the rest of the season — so spend deliberately.
15-min grace, escalating penalties
Teams have 15 minutes after scheduled game time to show up with the required number of players. Any unlocked match not scheduled by 8:30 PM EST can be forfeit-ruled by staff.
Earn your name in CPA history
MVP, Rookie of the Year, Coach of the Year, and more. League staff open voting; head coaches and staff cast ballots. Winners are announced live.
Top 25 players and top 25 teams are re-ranked every week by CPA staff. Published to the standings page and the newsletter.
Put up a 30+ PPG or 70%+ 3PT game and the Alumni Insider spotlights you. Dominant performances boost your reputation.
Prize pool paid out to champions, All-Star performers, and key milestone hitters. Announced in the CPA payouts channel each season.
