Quick Navigation
League entry requirements and payment policies
Zero Refund Policy: all fees are final once submitted.
Player Fee: $10 — includes a 2 Build Limit.
Unlimited Positions: $5 — unlocks additional positions.
Head Coach Fee: $25 per Head Coach.
Name Change Fee: $5 for GT/PSN changes (during season only).
Late Registration #1: $15 — begins at 12:00 PM EST on Draft Day and closes 1 hour before the draft starts.
Late Registration #2: $25 — a 48-hour registration window may open after the Preseason Tournament is announced by CPA Staff.
Late registrations are only accepted during official CPA registration windows. Once a late registration window closes, players may be denied entry until the next approved opportunity.
Once the draft starts, the Discord account a player registered with is the account they must use for the entire season.
Discord account changes are not allowed during the season unless approved by CPA Administration.
If a player requests a Discord account change before the draft starts, they must provide evidence proving both Discord accounts belong to them.
Failure to use the registered Discord account may result in denied eligibility, roster issues, or disciplinary action.
When sending payment, include your Discord name in the payment description.
Post-game requirements and deadlines
The winning GM must post the following after every game series:
A screenshot of the final score screen for each game.
A screenshot of the full stat sheet for each game.
All screenshots and game results must be submitted within 3 hours of the final game of the series concluding.
Failure to report results within the allotted timeframe may result in warnings, fines, or administrative action.
Teams are encouraged to submit results immediately following each game.
Maintaining a professional playing environment
Courts must be clear, readable, and visually balanced.
No flashing, blinding, distracting, or seizure-inducing courts.
Custom courts must remain professional and appropriate for league play.
CPA Administration reserves the right to require changes to any court design.
In-game rules and restrictions
Rhythm Shooting (Tempo Shooting) is banned.
Only one (1) player at 7'4" height is allowed on the court at a time per team.
Bring Your Own Team roster restrictions
No CPA COLLEGE roster may have more than two (2) members from the same BYOT or consecutive OVN team.
Violation of this rule will result in an automatic suspension and forfeit overturns of any games played with the illegal lineup.
Game recording requirements
At least one player from each team must stream every CPA game.
Streams must remain available for review after games conclude.
Streams may be used as evidence in protests, no-show disputes, cheating investigations, and league reviews.
Failure to provide stream evidence when requested may result in disciplinary action or denial of a protest.
Grace periods, forfeits, and scheduling enforcement
Teams have a 15-minute grace period after the scheduled game time.
To claim a forfeit, a team must have five (5) rostered players in the gym and at least one active team stream for 15 minutes.
Any game not locked between both teams before 8:30 PM EST on the last day of the week may be awarded as a forfeit to the team demonstrating greater scheduling effort, or have a game time assigned by CPA Administration.
No team is required to play before 7:30 PM EST or after 10:30 PM EST.
Fines, protests, and outstanding balances
Every Forfeit (FF) issued results in a $5 fine to the Head Coach.
A Head Coach may protest the fine through the CPA Ticket System if they believe the forfeit was caused by a specific player — failure to appear, failure to communicate, refusal to play, or repeated scheduling violations.
If CPA Administration determines a player was responsible for the forfeit, the forfeit fine plus an additional fine will be transferred to that player.
The player may also protest the ruling through the CPA Ticket System.
All fines must be paid before game participation, team ownership approval for future seasons, and registration for the next season.
Repeated unpaid fines may result in suspensions, roster restrictions, or removal from the league.
CPA participation priority requirements
Players are permitted to participate in multiple leagues outside of CPA.
By registering for CPA, players acknowledge that CPA must be prioritized over all other leagues, tournaments, or organized events when scheduling conflicts occur.
If a CPA game conflicts with another league event, players are expected to attend their CPA commitment first unless prior approval has been granted by CPA Administration.
Communicate availability to your Head Coach.
Inform your coach of potential scheduling conflicts as soon as possible.
Make reasonable efforts to attend all scheduled CPA games.
A player who repeatedly misses CPA games due to commitments in another league may be subject to warnings, fines, suspensions, removal from a roster, or removal from future CPA events — at CPA Administration's discretion.
Head Coaches may report players who repeatedly prioritize other leagues over CPA commitments.
Staff may review stream schedules, league schedules, Discord communications, and attendance records when determining violations.
CPA Administration may approve exceptions for real-life emergencies, work obligations, family obligations, and other circumstances deemed reasonable by staff.
By registering for CPA, all players agree that CPA is their primary league commitment during the CPA season.
Failure to uphold this commitment may impact eligibility for future drafts, free agency, and league participation.
Roster integrity, sportsmanship, and professionalism
Only players officially drafted or acquired through approved free agency may participate in CPA games.
If a non-rostered player participates, the current game is forfeited and any previous games involving the illegal player are forfeited.
Players are responsible for keeping their CPA website profile up to date.
If a player changes their Xbox Gamertag or PlayStation Network ID, they must update their profile immediately, or create a support ticket and notify administration before participating in a game.
Playing under an unregistered or incorrect account may result in suspension, forfeits, or temporary ineligibility.
Competitive trash talk is allowed.
Personal attacks, harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, and targeted toxicity are prohibited.
Violations may result in warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans at CPA Administration's discretion.
All Head Coaches are responsible for scheduling communication.
CPA Administration reserves the right to intervene and make final scheduling decisions.
Official dispute process
Protests must be submitted within twelve (12) hours of the game or series conclusion.
All protests must be submitted through the CPA Ticket System.
Protests must include evidence such as clips, screenshots, stream VODs, or other verifiable proof.
False, misleading, or fraudulent protests may result in disciplinary action.
All CPA Administration rulings are final.
Competitive integrity enforcement
The use of Zens, Cronus, Titan devices, strike packs, macros, scripts, third-party software, or any external device providing gameplay advantages is strictly prohibited.
Any player or team found using, assisting, or benefiting from cheating devices will receive an immediate league ban and removal from current and future CPA events.
Suspected cheating should be reported privately to CPA Administration with supporting evidence — clips, screenshots, or VODs.
CPA Administration reserves the right to investigate any player, team, or organization at any time.
All decisions by CPA Administration regarding competitive integrity are final. Zero tolerance — no exceptions.
Team management and roster moves
Each team starts the season with $20 Transaction Cap Space.
Signing Fee: $2 per signing.
Release Fee: $1 per release.
Trade Fee: $4 per trade.
Once a team exhausts its transaction cap space, no additional transactions may be made.
Each team receives three (3) emergency signings per season.
Emergency signings may only be approved when a rostered player becomes unavailable.
CPA Administration reserves final approval authority.
Playoff roster protection
Team rosters lock at the conclusion of the regular season.
After roster lock: no signings, no releases, and no trades without CPA Administration approval.
Any player added after roster lock without approval is considered an illegal player and may result in forfeits. This does not include emergency signings.
Who can play in the postseason
To participate in playoffs, a player must:
Have participated in at least two (2) regular season series.
Be on the roster prior to roster lock.
Be in good standing with CPA Administration.
Have no unresolved suspensions.
Have no unpaid league fines.
CPA Administration may review special circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
The full competitive journey
Before Draft Day, invite-only private workouts may be organized by coaching staffs. Players who perform well may improve their draft stock and earn additional opportunities.
Once the CPA Draft begins, registration closes (the late fee window opens until 1 hour before the draft), private workouts conclude, and draft selections are made live.
Three BO3 series per week across a two-week regular season — six total BO3 series. CPA All-Star festivities take place during the regular season.
The top teams advance to postseason competition — a traditional BO3, single-elimination bracket with 48-hour rounds. The best teams compete for a chance to reach the championship.
The final stage of CPA competition: a best-of-five (BO5) series, streamed live with community commentary and coverage. The final two teams battle for the CPA Championship.
